The Bayonne Economic Opportunity Foundation will host “Exalt to Excellence, the White Party,” its inaugural fundraiser.
The BEOF event will be held at the BCB Pavilion, 301 Chosin Few Way, on Saturday, Sept. 17. The event will feature live entertainment from old-school Philly Soul group The Stylistics Review and will feature The Urban Guerilla Orchestra.
Since it is a “white party,” guests are asked to wear white clothing, but not formal wear.
“Dance the night away and enjoy the tastes of an assortment of fabulous dishes as we honor local community members for the impact they’ve made in the lives of Bayonne residents,” said BEOF Executive Director Samantha Howard.
The BEOF provides a wide range of services to improve the quality of life for and to assist low-income, handicapped and elderly residents of Bayonne and Hudson County so that these beneficiaries can become self-sufficient.
At the event, the BEOF will honor great work and public service.
“At the BEOF, we believe that excellence is a journey, not a destination,” Howard said. “Exalt to Excellence will be an annual event to honor those in the community who travel that road, by consistently demonstrating the qualities and commitment to go above and beyond in order to help others.”
