Bayonne will host cool grooves with the Summer Sounds by the Bay concert series every Wednesday this July and August.
The first concert in July, featuring the Marty Hoff Big Band, took place tomorrow, July 6, as part of Bayonne’s Independence Day celebration.
A full schedule of the summer concert series is as follows:
Wednesday, July 13, 7 p.m.: Sunset Soundz
Wednesday, July 20, 7 p.m.: The Mahoney Brothers
Wednesday, July 27, 7 p.m.: The 1910 Fruitgum Company
Wednesday, Aug. 3, 7 p.m.: Large Flowerheads
Wednesday, Aug. 10, 7 p.m.: Gerard Esposito & His Trio
Wednesday, Aug. 17, 7 p.m.: Beginnings
Wednesday, Aug. 24, 7 p.m.: The Nerds
The concerts will be held at the amphitheater on the lower level of DiDomenico-16th Street Park, which is located between Avenue A and Newark Bay.
