The library’s Movie Afternoons for Adults series runs Wednesdays at 1 p.m. in the Art and Music Room on the second floor. The lineup includes Under the Tuscan Sun on August 5, Walk the Line on August 12, Chuck on August 19, and Some Like It Hot on August 26. Admission is free and light refreshments will be served.

Separately, the library is offering Tech Thursdays each Thursday in August from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. in the Small Programming Room, led by Adult Services Librarian Bill Fischer. The schedule covers Genealogy Online on August 6, Streaming TV and Movies on August 13, Artificial Intelligence on August 20, and an open Ask Me Anything session on August 27 for miscellaneous tech questions. Attendees can join one session or all four, and advanced registration is preferred, though walk-ins will be accommodated when possible.
