The Bayonne mayor and all five city council members are among the eight people being honored when the Bayonne branch of the NAACP hosts its 91st annual Freedom Fund Dinner on Nov. 18.

Stephanie Glover-Wilson and Joyce Person-Perkins, whose careers have been dedicated to improving people’s lives, are also being honored at the event at the Maritime Parc Restaurant at Liberty State Park.

Richard T. Smith, president of the NAACP State Conference, will be the keynote speaker and the theme is “Building a Better Bayonne: Moving Forward.” Tickets for the dinner are $125. For more information on how to purchase tickets email
