Join us at Joe Pizza on 41st and Broadway in Bayonne, New Jersey. Come chill, play chess, eat some good food, and just have a grand ol’ time. All skill levels … all ages attend. We tend to get a lot of kids, which is a nice blend with the adults. It’s the kids who tend to be the best chess players these days anyway. Our youngest good chess player is seven years old. We have members of all skill levels, from beginner to National Master and beyond.

The Bayonne Chess Society & Club meets 5 evenings a week at different venues. We have a venue that goes from 1pm to 5pm on Saturdays. We just added another afternoon venue, starting Sunday. April 6th. That also goes from 1 pm to 5 pm. So, in total, we meet 6 days a week. We also have spontaneous meetups sometimes on days when nothing is scheduled. Some players can’t get enough of chess.
