As reported by tapinto.net, Bayonne celebrated their first Pride Festival on September 6th. Here’s what they had to say:

The tents of vendors and various civic groups filled the sprawling public space in 16th Street Park for the inaugural event.

The festival was sponsored by the Bayonne Heritage Association, a civic organization that has been very active in its support for public events throughout the city.

Harmonica Sunbeam, who has become a mainstay in the Jersey City community, served as Emcee for the festival. Eddie Baez, who was a key figure in the very successful Jersey City Pride Festival, helped provide guidance. “Love will always outshine the negativity,” Harmonica Sunbeam said.
