BAYONNE, NJ –  According to http://tapinto.net silence is not always golden, despite what the old 1960s pop song says, at least where local container ports are concerned.

While a tentative agreement to end the labor dispute would be announced hours later, an eerie silence hovered over Global Terminals in Bayonne, on Thursday, where on any given day, cranes moved non-stop unloading goods off the ships.
